Radha Sarma is a dancer and a choreographer. Over the course of her career, Radha has been a dedicated performer, choreographer, teacher and community volunteer.

She donates her time to spread the arts and culture of India throughout Northern Germany and serves as president of the Indo-German Society in Braunschweig-Wolfsburg.

Radha was introduced to dance at the age of 3 and trained in Indian Classical Dance. She has also studied under many notable dance teachers in a variety of other dance forms and has developed her own original signature style.

Her repertoire includes Classical Indian and Bollywood Dance, Modern Dance, Laban, Jazz-Dance, Dancedrama, Contemporary dance and Latin American styles such as Tango Argentino.

She is currently teaching dance at the well-known private Musische Academy in Braunschweig, Germany and offers classes for all ages. Radha is unique in that she combines Indian Classical Dance together with contemporary European dance styles creating an extraordinary dance experience and an intercultural dialogue.

Future perspective…
Currently Radha S. is doing her further studies in psychology and dance therapy at the IEK – German Institute of recreation and communication (see professional organization for Dance Therapists in Germany – Berufsverband der TanztherapeutInnen Deutschlands e.V. (BTD)).
