The festival of Shivanisai was a successful event and all rasikas were appreciative of the efforts taken by Sri Ashok Ramani – Accomplished Carnatic Vocal musician for over 20 years, Grandson of Tamil Composer Brahmashri Papanasam Sivan – in organizing an event to encourage the young students in Germany .  Ashok Ramani said “Papanasam sivan belongs to all artists of music and dance and it is my earnest desire to bring all of them under one roof annually,so that we can pay homage to such a great composer”

Padma Bhushan Brahmashri Papanasam Sivan wrote thousands of Tamil and Sankrit Keerthanams and Varnams. His compositions have become so popular that they are sung regularly in all concerts.
