Artwork and Dance therapy

Connect to your body with dance and movement…
look at the correlation between movement and emotion…
feel the intellectual, emotional, and motor functions of the body…

Beneficial for both physical and mental health, dance therapy can be used for stress reduction, disease prevention, and mood management.

Radha works with all – individuals, couples, families, or groups- to promote their self-awareness, self-esteem, and a safe space for the expression of feelings

Radha Sarma is a dancer and a choreographer. Over the course of her career, Radha has been a dedicated performer, choreographer, teacher and community volunteer.

Radha was introduced to dance at the age of 3 and trained in Indian Classical Dance. She has also studied under many notable dance teachers in a variety of other dance forms and has developed her own original signature style.

Her repertoire includes Classical Indian and Bollywood Dance, Modern Dance, Laban, Jazz-Dance, Dancedrama, Contemporary dance and Latin American styles such as Tango Argentino.

She is teaching dance and offers classes for all ages. Radha is unique in that she combines Indian Classical Dance together with contemporary European dance styles creating an extraordinary dance experience and an intercultural dialogue.

Radha S.  did her further studies in psychology and dance therapy at the IEK – German Institute of recreation and communication (see professional organization for Dance Therapists in Germany – Berufsverband der TanztherapeutInnen Deutschlands e.V. (BTD)).

The dance and movement therapy helps to fine the abilities that each person must possess.

The posture, strength, coordination and mobility of body and mind
Patience with others and with him or herself
Power to command and lead
To listen inner monotone and how to express it

It can increase the energy by practicing specific movements to help individuals achieve emotional, cognitive, physical, and social integration.
